Description: Learning Support Services of George Mason University invites applicants for a full-time classified Instructional Support Manager. Responsibilities will include oversight of faculty development initiatives through the Instructional Resource Center, outreach and engagement throughout the University instructional community, supervision of the instructional design and training staff, ongoing assessment of LSS support efforts, and evaluation and integration of new technologies. Management experience is essential, as is an intermediate to advanced familiarity with instructional technologies. Experience working in an educational environment is a prerequisite; experience supporting faculty learning and teaching with technology is a strong plus. Must have demonstrable communication, teamwork and collaborative skills. A Master's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is required. Classroom Support Manager (PWC) Classroom Technologies   Human Resources
Description: The Manager of Classroom Support at Prince William is responsible for wide variety of audiovisual, computer classroom, distant learning, and instructional technology support in Prince William campus. The position is responsible for daily management of the unit, supervision of support staff, training of staff, communication with users, and coordination with other University departments. Demonstrated experience with audiovisual systems, working in a large multi-user environment, management and supervisory skills, and progressively responsible experience in instructional technology support services are required. Excellent customer service skills, excellent written and oral communication skills are also required. Experience working in a higher education environment is preferred. The closing date is June 23rd.
