The functions of the DoIT Advisory Board are as follows:
- Serve as a channel for communication of information between DoIT and the academic units of the University
- Advise the DoIT Directors about faculty needs for professional development and training
- Assist the DoIT Directors in program planning and goal setting for the unit
- Assist the DoIT Directors in the assessment and evaluation of DoIT programs and projects
